Haraya
An old word for imagination
Haraya Cakes began with a love for one thing: Filipino chiffon cakes. As a half-Filipina growing up in the UK, it was often difficult to find the cakes and flavours I remembered from childhood. What began as recreating those familiar flavours for family and friends has now grown into something I can share with everyone.
Haraya (ᜑᜇᜌ) is an old Tagalog word meaning vision or imagination, which reflects my hope of bringing your ideas to life through every cake.
Each order is made by hand, in small batches, using real ingredients and plenty of care. I keep the menu small and the focus on quality, so every cake feels personal, fresh and a little bit special.
